as tense lines are drawn over Northern Pulp’s plan to pump wastewater
into the Northumberland Strait, he sees a wider tale of how Canadian
communities can become divided as the interests of heavy industry are
pitted against the natural environment.
“People are now seriously asking the question ‘What is the limit to
resource exploitation?‘” the 67-year-old seasonal resident of Pictou
County said in an interview.
