Wednesday.
Plouffe, previously the commissioner for the
Communications Security Establishment (CSE), has to approve ministerial
authorizations for foreign intelligence and cybersecurity activities
before they can proceed. He’ll also review the type of datasets the
Canadian Security Intelligence Service can maintain.
