and Family Caring Society’s request to postpone the same judicial

In a closing statement made at the Federal Court on Nov. 26, Justice
Paul Favel said he would “work quickly” to hand down a resolution in a
contentious head-to-head between Crown lawyers and child welfare
activists waiting on compensation for apprehended Indigenous children.
