Kenney Goes To Hell
Quote from Steve on September 7, 2020, 4:32 pmThe United Conservative Party government in Alberta has made it much harder for ordinary people. Taxes have gone up; wages have gone down. Healthcare is deteriorating; doctors are fleeing the province. The cost of education is being increased and there is less money for infrastructure. I would like to see UCP government replaced. If not, I hope to do my part to make sure they don't get re-elected.
I belong to several social media platforms. Although they are great for sharing ideas, typically with link-minded individuals, they don't get indexed very well by the search engines. Google Plus was great for getting the word out, but of course, it doesn't exist any longer. Google has started another platform called "Keen" but it's too early to tell at this point whether it will be of any use. Once in a while I will see one of my posts come up on Twitter. By far the best platform is Pinterest. It seems to be indexed better than the rest.
Having a blog/website is the best way to get your voice heard. Search engines "live" for content. Naturally they prefer original articles but for a new project like this, you have to have a balance of news. In order to attract website visitors, they have to be able to read something when they come.
This topic will be a running thread for ideas to un-throne Mr.Kenney. If you have some, please share.
Additionally, if anyone would like to be a guest blogger, or submit articles for publishing, these are options I would certainly consider.
