According to the CBC, the Doug Ford government is creating a “super-agency” called Ontario Health to oversee the province’s $60-billion health-care system. It will dissolve 14 Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) and merge their duties with those of six provincial health agencies, including Cancer Care Ontario and eHealth Ontario.
The NDP revealed these secret plans last month in a series of leaked documents. While Minister Elliott attempted to claim these changes weren’t a done deal, and that the government would consult on any health care changes, today’s announcement proves otherwise. #onpoli
Schools will require kids’ immunization status by fall, B.C. health minister says

B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix says he expects mandatory reporting of vaccinations to be in place for the start of school in September. All students in both public and private schools would be required to provide proof of immunization against diseases such as the measles.
Parents who refuse based on religious or philosophical grounds would be required to attend a course designed to show them the risks of not vaccinating their children.
This is about the province of British Columbia, Canada; Canada’s 3rd most populous region, which is currently going through a Measles outbreak.
Is this connected to the Portland outbreak a few weeks ago?
