‘Gut-wrenching’ military report sheds light on grim conditions in Ontario nursing homes
CAF reported that there was a “general culture of fear” among staff in terms of using supplies “because they cost money” and that key supplies were often locked away and not accessible. They also said that residents who routinely soil themselves were not allowed an extra soaker pad or towel to protect their sheets.
