Lets be clear, Doug Ford’s government didn’t just back away from this disgusting move to remove gender identity, consent, etc from the Sex Education curriculum on a whim.

I’m not happy about lessons on sexuality and gender identity being delayed to later grades (grade 8 for gender identity is especially ridiculous) but this is better than those subjects being totally erased.
Details
were laid out in the Progressive Conservative government’s fall
economic outlook released on Thursday. The strategy includes spending
cuts, eliminating several high-profile independent oversight
positions, some tax relief for low-income earners and a number of steps
aimed at boosting affordability.
Ford was in southwestern Ontario speaking out against the carbon tax at the same time federal Environment Minister Catherine McKenna was also in the region touting her government’s plans.
“That would be a price on pollution, that’s what it is, it is a carbon tax,” McKenna said about the province’s plan.
“They’re speaking from both sides of their mouth. They’re attacking us for having a price on pollution, then they’re suggesting it. Although, it’s not entirely clear what the details are around what they’re suggesting.” #onpoli
“We didn’t expect a complete shutdown of the equity programs,” Kwan said, adding that the Ontario government has provided core funding for the organization’s school programs for years.
He said they received $350,000 from the province last year. However, in December, they were notified that the province would not renew a funding agreement. #onpoli #racism

That’s while holding $1,600-per-plate fundraisers — known as “cash-for-access” fundraisers back when the Liberals were doing it — after gutting the law that the previous administration put in place to stop wealthy stakeholders from purchasing access to provincial lawmakers.
